As I mentioned before, I already understand grammar fairly well; nevertheless, this lesson had some good points that were new. For starters, I want to look up the linguistic argument mentioned in the introduction to the unit that only two real tenses (past and present) exist. I don't think I've heard that before, and I am very intrigued! In addition, I knew that English has comparatively many tenses with complex aspects, but I had forgotten that there is still a very systematic way of categorizing and understanding them. I am glad this lesson focused on the present variations. The summaries of usages/applications and common mistakes make this unit a great reference tool that I will definitely keep handy.
