This unit covered five future tenses, as well as reviewed two of the present tenses that relate to the future. The future tenses are: future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous, and the to be going tense. The first four all start with will, the future continuous follows will with be, the future perfect follows will with have, and the future perfect continuous follows will with have been. The present simple and present continuous both can relate to the future definite arrangements/arrangements without a time frame and for definite schedules. All these tenses are fairly easy to identify but the real challenge lies in determining what situation each tense is appropriate for.
