Unit four, materials, discusses the best way to design materials with a focus on a lesson plan's structure and form. Helpful websites were given as additional resources. For me, the most helpful information I found was in the form of the Lesson Plan example. I must admit, when taking the TEFL course, I became a bit confused with what was considered \"engage\" and \"study\" - as the initial examples were not as detailed as the one in this unit. I have never seen lesson plans such as these before - the ones I created many (many) years ago were much more basic and outlined. These particular plans (which are definitely \"works in progress\") gives much more information than just the order with which to teach.
