This unit taught about the different levels of English language learners. It also talked about the differences between students taking a class in school and students taking English classes because of work, the various problems that can arise in each situation, and gave guides on how to work with each type of student. From this unit I have learned how better to work with students that come from the business side of learning. Most of my training from previous jobs was for students in school. Being able to see the material in this chapter on how to work with students that are taking the class because of work helped me to understand better their struggles and what I can do as the teacher to help them progress.
