This final unit covers how instructors should trouble shoot some of the most common problems they will face. These include large groups, difficulties with listening activities, students at different levels in the same class, first lessons with both new and existing groups, reluctant students, and students using their native language. For students at different levels, the instructor should try to teach towards the average of the class and have stronger students help weaker students. For reluctant students, the instructor should allow them time to practice on their own, use pairwork, and use role-play activities. The unit also provides sample warmer activity ideas for instructors to use with their students.
