Unit 14 talks about course books and lesson materials. It summarized some key points I experienced previously when teaching Middle school and High school students. I loved to be creative and engage students through topics, activities and small projects that are relevant to them; but I failed to notice the logic and consistency of the course books. That said, although I tried very hard, I have to say the created materials proved to be challenging, particularly when students moved to a higher level. While reading, there are a few times the word ?balance? is mentioned, and that?s exactly what I need to put more efforts and thinking into in order to deliver consistent quality class to my students.
