In this unit, I learned about the different past tenses, including the the past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous tenses. It went into the specifics of each tense, such as what the negative, affirmative, and question forms of the tense are like and when to use the terms. In addition to this, the unit mentioned what mistakes students are most prone to make with each tense and gave suggestions as to what activities a teacher can do to help students practice. I felt that these two last two sections (the ones about students' mistakes and activity suggestions) were most helpful because it gave me an idea as to what I should be careful with and how I could go about planning a lesson.
