Unit 2 is comprised of information relating to ideas, methods and variations specific to teaching English as a second language. One example of a learning method is called Task-Based Learning, a method focusing on student's completion of a task (in English) rather than how the language is being used in the task. Although it's difficult to retain the plethora of information in Unit 2, I feel I've been able to understand the importance of flexibility when teaching. There is no such thing as teaching \"one way.\" As teachers, we must be able to understand the needs of the students and be open to teaching in different ways. The ultimate focus should be on the students and providing the highest level learning.
