This unit was pretty difficult for me, especially phrasal verbs. I suppose it's easier to study these in Japanese, as I'm not learning them through life like I did with English. But I am surprised as an English speaker, it is difficult for me to grasp relative clauses in English, yet I excel at them in Japanese. I was also unaware of the different uses for words like 'might' or 'would', 'could' or 'should'. Surely as a Native English speaker, I can guess the usage based on what sounds correct or incorrect to me, but to actually have to learn the usages, for some reason is quite difficult. I feel that I have learned not only what certain words mean, but I can actually explain how the words are used to my students.
