This unit felt a bit more like a refresher of previous units combined because it spoke about mixed classes and the struggles that might come with teaching, as well as ways to possibly rectify the situation. It is important to establish a rapport with your class and not to intimidate or bore them when you first meet them. A first impression is important and one way to get to know the students, and for them to get to know each other is the memory game. Another is the toss-the-ball game. I believe that game would be helpful in general because it establishes that only the person with the ball should be speaking and others should be listening. In general, that's what I'd want from my class: mutual respect for everyone.
