This unit has really opened my eyes to lesson planning. I really do believe all new teachers must write out their lesson plans so that they are able to stay on track but its important that one is flexible because things do change and one has to be able to adapt quickly to those changes. I like the examples this unit gave for the different activities a teacher can use to help the students study. This unit also helped me think of how to properly conduct a lesson plan by remembering what goes in each phase. One can sometimes put things in the engage phase that should be in the study phase and vice versa. A new teacher really has to plan her lessons until one is able to fully grasp all the different teaching methods.
