Classroom management is the skill of organizing and managing the class, having a friendly and relaxed manner and maintaining discipline. The use of eye contact, gesture and the voice if use appropriately can make learning effective. Grouping students is important in managing classes too. There are four different ways to group students?the whole-class grouping, students working on their own, pair work and group work. Each way of grouping students has its own place in the classroom as well as its own advantages and disadvantages. In this unit, I also learn about giving individual attention, giving instructions effectively, establishing good rapport with students and maintaining good discipline in the classroom.
