Unit 8 relayed information about the future tense of the English language. I do not recall learning about the future tense in much detail during my schooling, so this section was a great review and learning experience. Since I use the future tense a lot when I speak or write, I could understand why the future tense system was grouped into its seven most common uses. However, I had never really thought about why I used a particular usage over another. By reading the \"Usages\" sections, I was better able to consider why I would use a way of saying or writing something over another way. I will continue to study this unit to ensure that I can making learning about the future tense easy to understand for future students.
