The 3 stages of the lesson are important for students to learn effectively. The Engage stage should arouse the students' interest and get them involve in the lesson. The teacher should encourage the student to use English as much as possible. During Study stage, the students should focus on learning new language concepts. Exercises, drills, practices, and etc. should be used in this stage only. Correction is important during the Study stage. The Activate stage should allow the students to use their English language knowledge and with what they just learnt during the activities. Flexibility is important during this stage to allow creativity. It is important to elicit information from the studnets during all three stages.
