The brief over view of this unit is talking about theories, methods and techniques of learning a language. In this unit i have learned about the usage of grammar-translation which is very dangerous to the learners especially when the teacher is not well based with the local language. I have also learned about the methods of teaching that should be used by teachers to ease his/her work without having to get confused along the line. The engage stage, which is to arouse student's attention to make them get ready for the class, the study stage which allows student to fully participate to practice the language and the activate stage where students have to put what they have studied through production by using it to play games.
