This Unit treats conditionals and reported speech which equally has to do with Grammar. Conditionals are sentences containing 'if' ( or similar expressions such as when). In this part we came across the five main conditionals which are; zero conditional, first conditional, second conditional, third conditional and mixed conditional in which we studied their forms and usages. As for reported(also known as indirect) speech, it is a report from the direct or actual speech of another person. When this is done, there're certain modifications on the speech reported notably on the verb tenses, pronouns and time expressions. Some teaching ideas were also presented in this unit to aid with conditionals and reported speech lessons.
