This unit emphasizes the importance of the teacher's attitude in the students learning process. By comparing two different teaching performance, some key issues become apparent, concepts such as smiling, communication style (tone of voice, speed, pronunciation, mimic and gestures), use of examples, material support, preparation of materials, treating students with respect and encourage their trials, being flexible to students needs, showing a positive listening attitude, and not over-correcting students. All these concepts are demonstrated and by watching the supporting videos it becomes apparent that the lack of appropriate attitude from the teacher has a very negative impact on the learning achievements from his students.
