This final unit talked about potential problems that can be found in a class and also gave some ideas of what to do on the first lesson. I agree that the first lesson is important for the teacher on many levels. It is important for the teacher to make a strong first impression and set the tone for what is expected in the class. The teacher can also use this opportunity to assess the level and build rapport. If a teacher comes across a problem in the classroom this lesson provided several answers for each problem. They offered productive ways to meet the problem and use that to an advantage. However, I think a motivated and enthusiastic teacher who respects their students would be able to solve most problems in a classroom.
