I thought that taking this test was slightly more tricky compared so some of the other units from the course, I have realised after reading this unit how important all of these aspect of reading and writing are. In the past i have always found that i had been neglecting the reading and writing tasks during my lessons. I have learned that i must always create a strong balance in my lessons with everything.This unit taught me about the methods and processes of teaching. There are three steps in the ESA plan - Engage, Study & Activate. It is important for the teacher to remain patient, allowing the students to figure out their mistakes and correct them by themselves. If self-correction takes too long, it would be wise to move on with the topic, to avoid embarrassment upon the student. I really enjoyed this unit.
