I learnt about the different ways to teach language - the different methods and techniques. I found it helpful learning the difference between the methods and that a combination can work best. I also found it interesting learning about the \"Engage, Study, Activate\" model and variations. I like the idea of keeping the lessons fun and engaging for the students and having time for them to practice their talking.The unit expounds on evaluation and testing of students in their present knowledge of English, and assess how best to move forward in their English Education. Students have different motives in studying English, mostly for work in the international business environment, or to meet Academic requirements. An understanding of testing measures helps both the teacher and learner to successfully reach learner goals.
