This unit discussed equipment and teaching aids typically used and found in classrooms. It discussed some out dated and emerging equipment, specifically, what they are and can be used for. I learned that a lot of the equipment discussed can still be used in classrooms, therefore, learning how to use the equipment prior to starting a lesson is very important. It also provided several links for teaching resources.Unit 6 covers the 4 types of verb formations that happened in the past. It shows the patterns of the past tense as being similar to the patterns of the present tense. These include the simple past, the past continuous, the past perfect, and the past perfect continuous. It seems that these tenses would be difficult to explain to a ESL student, particularly who native tongue does not have equivalent structures.
