Unit 5 presented the sills that we, as teachers should have or develop in order to manage our classes. Our gestures, our voice and our behavior towards the students are crucial to establishing a good rapport with everyone in the class and also maintaining discipline. It is important to observe and take action according to the circumstances. Keeping calm and respecting the school's rules will help prevent problems.This unit explains how to plan a lesson. It describes the functions of writing a lesson plan and further explains how to write a lesson plan and what should be included in it. In this unit it is also xplained why teachers should monitor lessons and how to plan a squence of lessons. Finally,the unit provides an example of a lesson plan. I have learned the importance of writing a lesson plan after reading this unit.
