In this chapter, I learnt several equipments and teaching aids and how to use them respectively. The equipment and teaching aids can be used to make lessons more interesting, and less dependent on the text book, which make the classroom process more effective. Also teachers should be base on their school resources, students' interest, and learning goal to choose which equipment or teaching aids they should use.Unit 5 has covered the topic of classroom management. This involved discussing various pros and cons of grouping students, classroom arrangement, the teacher's physical presence, writing on the board, giving instructions, maintaining discipline, creating rapport, individual attention given to students, teacher talk time and student talk time. This module has helped to lay a good foundation for classroom management.
