In this unit I learnt what do the students need to know when learning new vocabulary, new language structures and new grammar - what do they need to know about each item, in order for them to fully understand and be able to use the new language. I learnt what are the factors for selecting the right new language items for the class and I've written down what activities I can do in the classroom using the ESA method.In this unit, the focus is on grammar. There are conditionals in sentences that consist of the zero conditional, first conditional, second conditional, third conditional and mixed conditional. There are many ways to teach these conditionals, such as split sentences, complete the conditional and chain conditionals. In reported and direct speech, you can teach it by intermediaries, reported verbs, and media interviews.
