I think this unit is very useful to read. There are various approaches, techniques and methodologies that can be utilized in the English language classroom. Sometimes teachers know most of them but only use some. There are many different methodologies that have been or are still being used in different situations around the world. As teachers, we can just use the one which we think is suitable for each lesson that we teach.There are various teaching aides available to teachers of ESL students each institution will have different resources are available. An ESL teacher should familiarize themselves with the resources available at their institution. Using a combination of teaching aides keeps students motivated and engaged in the lesson. A list of most commonly used aides are white board, DVD, course books, photocopier, and online resources.
