I learnt \"parts of speech\" in Unit 2. I feel a little bit relieved when I saw \"no teacher is expected to be a walking grammar reference book and know absolutely everything\". Grammar is emphasized too much in second language learning in China. We do a huge amount of multiple choice questions to make sure that students understand everything, which costs lots of time that should have been putted into speaking and listening.In this unit I was presented to the equipment and teaching aids that can be used in class and how each one can maximize the learning process. Some of the items we saw where: The board, the interactive whiteboard, the overhead projector, visual aids, worksheets and work cards, cassete recorders, CD players, Videos and DVDs, Video cameras, Dictionaries, Course books, Resource books, photocopiers, computers and online sources.
