These tenses are similar in nature, yet need to be discerned from one another. With practice, ESL students can learn to discern between these different sentences. It is important that ESL students learn how to use these tenses when speaking and writing. Strong modeling should be used when teaching these phrases. Students need a lot of hep with these phrases. Students need lots of feedback when using these kinds of sentences.I liked being able to learn about all of the tenses and jow they are used. Plus different activities you can do to help students learn these tenses. It was nice to be anle to to review then and learn more about the tenses and their different forms. The unit also helped me understand the verb tenses better. I have used them all my life and never truly understood there were such things as present perfect or present continuous.
