In this unit I knew how to teach vocabulary , grammatical structure and language functions.I knew,how to choose right words to teach vocabulary,what needed to know about every vocabulary item and what techniques to choose for vocabulary teaching.In this unit, ESA method was shown to teach vocabulary , language structure and functions.An ESA 'strait arrow' structured lesson was shown as a typical vocabulary lesson for low level students ,and patchwork structured lesson was shown as example of grammar lesson for mid level students.Boomerang type lesson was shown as example of typical language function lesson for mid level students.Again,we repeated techniques of Engage,Study and Activate stages of language structure lesson.It was not so difficult to understand,but it seemed to be enough abstract ,that is why difficult to remember and 'activate'.Video lessons helped me a lot before,to structure and understand the abstract content,like that unit.But we didn't have it this time.Well,the usage of ESA types and techniques became somewhat practical and clear after my work with task sheet.
