We know that a teacher is not a walking grammar reference book, but if a teacher doesn't know anything, s/he may lose the confidence of his/her students.The parts of speech explain how a word is used in a sentence. A sentence must consist of at least a subject and a verb. Also, it indicates how the word functions in meaning as well as grammatically within the sentence.
