In this unit we have looked at some of the possible Cultural Issues that could arise when working and living in a foreign country. These issues could include religious or political views, gestures that may be considered offensive, dress code in and or outside of the classroom, and peoples openness to foreigners, to name a few. If we are interested in living and working abroad we need to do so in a modest and respectful manner, whether we agree with some things or not. In this unit we have also gone over different ways of finding employment, whether it be online through advertisements or traveling to the country of choice and checking out the environment, giving us the opportunity to speak with others as well as see for ourselves the school and or institute. In this unit I have also learned a couple of intriguing and interesting things about some Asian countries in doing the research in the Tasks. According to the information that I have read online, the Asian cultures value respect and peace in their culture and in their lives, as well as still abiding by many of their countries historical traditions.
