This unit provided helpful information on what makes a good teacher, the roles a teacher plays, what makes a good learner, things to keep in mind when considering a learner's perspective, evaluating language level, and the importance of motivation. As a teacher it is important to have an enthusiastic passion for the job, but it is even more important to be learner centered. From complete control of the class to letting the students work independently while monitoring them, the teacher can make good use of various approaches. A good teacher will offen be reflected in their stidents who will show enthusiasm and motivation along with a willingness to ask questions. There are many things to concise depending on who the learner is. Among them age, culture. And previous learning experience seem particularly important. Understanding language level can also help a teacher be a better educator and better evaluate learner progress. If one thing had to be learned from this lesson, I would say that when a teacher and the students are both motivated with student success in mind then their success is highly probable.
