This unit explained the different materials available, how a teacher create them and use them. It explains the difference between authentic and non authentic materials as well as the advantages and disadvantages of both. The unit also teaches the importance of using a lesson plan and includes an example plan. I also learned of the various books that can cater to teaching business English, as well as various websites available.This unit reflected on the use of course materials. The advantages and disadvantages of using the course book can reflected highly of how you want your class to learn and react to the language they are trying to learn. There are authentic material which is related to more interesting and real topics that can interest the students. Another use of teaching the students is using created material like word searches and crosswords.
