Creating an class-specific lesson plan will greatly facilitate the teacher in providing an effective class. It is also much more likely to be interesting, as the teacher must consider different ways to engage the students. I find it confusing to differentiate between activate, engage, and study, and I did not actively divide lessons in this way previously. Reviewing these stages may further add to the effectiveness of my teaching.As a teacher it is important to be organised so that no time in the class room is wasted. I learnt that it's vital to find the balance with flexibility and rigidity. If a teacher is too flexible, nothing will get done and the students will control the class. On the other hand, if the class is too strict student's needs may not get met. Having what goes into a lesson plan is useful because it will be easier to develop my own layout.
