This section encompassed trouble-shooting in the classroom. I learned how to handle the first lesson, students using their own language in the classroom, and many other potential problems a teacher could face. For example, when it is a teachers first lesson, they should stay away from major grammar drills. On the contrary, they should build a rapport with the students by getting to know them and making the classroom less intimidating.In this unit I learnt the importance of a proper lesson planning and how it can be used by the teacher to measure the students progress and help one always improve his teaching skills. I saw how a lesson plan shoud be written down, the structure and what it should contain. I also learnt that one should not only plan the lesson beforehand, but shoud have a sequence of lessons, with what you expect the students to learn in each lesson.
