This units focus was writing and speaking - which are the two elements of productive language skills. The unit described the difference and significance of teaching both accuracy and fluency. The unit then continued to describe some different approaches to teaching these skills - as well as how one might apply the ESA formulas to them. This provided me with some useful insights and I will no doubt be referring back to it in the future.I have learnt how to explain future tenses and how to teach about the various forms and usages using real life examples stating the future. What I have taken from this unit is the complexity of the future tense in the English language, there are many variations to the future tense and I feel better prepared now to be able to teach it. I have complemented this unit with YouTube videos to give me more examples of how to teach the Future.
