When we report conditionals and statements that refer to unreal situations, some tenses and modals may change if the reported words are no longer true or are out-of-date. Conditionals and reported speech are an important issue in grammar. In this world of today, nothing is certain! So, we must use them to value our messages. I really value this lesson because it has brought an enlightenment on my thought, which were too confusing to me.This unit continued to congeal the different grammatical forms for me, letting me see how prefect, participle, continuous, and other forms are used in multiple tenses allows me to better understand what they are and how they are used. I had also not really thought of present tenses being able to be used in the future, and I think that my understanding of how that is possible makes for a better understanding of the present tense as well.
