I have always had a keen interest in working with people and doing a job that will make a difference in people?s lives. I left my recruitment job at the end of February 2010 because I was not getting job satisfaction and thought to myself what can I do that I know I will enjoy and will get satisfaction in the job I am doing? I have always thought about teaching but never pursued the option and though that, now is a good time as ever to get into a respectable profession doing a job I am passionate about and making a difference in the lives of people. From studying this course I feel that I have learnt a great deal about the english language from the use of grammar, structuring sentences, how to manage a class as well as the importance of preparation. Even being a native english speaker there are things that I have learn about my native language and with my new skill set I hope to bring knowledge into others that are learning the english language. What I hope to achieve by gaining this qualification is to build myself a career as a teacher because I have a passion for working with people, being able to teach them something that will help them with their development and present with them opportunities in the future. I believe that ?knowledge is power? and giving students the knowledge to succeed could mean that you are teaching a future world leader, doctor, lawyer, accountant, so you are using your knowledge to give them a step up in a competitive economy we are in. I also want to take this experience the culture of asia, the people, the way of life and understand more about the developing economies and how I can help them make the changes they require. I believe that this course has prepared me with the knowledge I need to be successful in my job and give my all to do the best job I can. I have been able to learn about different areas of teaching and believe I am well equipped to feel confident in walking into a classroom and teach with enthusiasm and passion.
