In this unit, the seven different ways to express things in the future taught me that like the past tense, the future tense can be confusing. I did not realize that not only do \"present simple\" and \"present continuous\" also refer to the future, but \"going to\" is also considered the future tense. Previously, when I thought of \"future\" I automatically thought of \"will,\" even though in everyday speech I tend to use present continuous, present simple, or \"going to\" future. There is a huge difference between everyday speech and these complex tenses, so I am glad that these units provide a refresher course on the meanings and uses for each aspect and tense, in addition to helpful teaching activities/suggestions for each.
