This unit deals with managing classes. The arrangement of the class itself, grouping students, giving individual attention, and teacher talk/student talk time (TTT/STT) were explained and examples were given. I found the discussion about grouping students very interesting. I have never enjoyed group activities (as a student), but I can see how, in an environment where having students from different backgrounds trying to learn together as a group (from each other as well as from the teacher), having students in small groups, pairs, or whole group activities can be quite helpful. Students have the \"proper\" English response from the teacher, but they sometimes can learn more from others in the same situation (i.e. themselves).
