This unit's content was all about speaking language out loud, using voice and the intention behind the voice. The unit even had an anatomical review so students can understand exactly where the sound comes from, and why it comes from that part of the body. Intention and tone of a sentence is half of speaking and conveying meaning of people, and the other half is the words themselves. I learned in this unit that you can use complete jibberish, but use intonation of a specific intention and still convey meaning while speaking. Intonation has emotional value, and in order to use it and get the most out of this language technique, it is important to learn details in pronunciation of each word. Such techniques are stress and phonemes.
