This unit was basically going over certain components in the productive and receptive units. I learnt some ideas on warming up lessons in order to motivate the learners. Once again, touching upon the importance of establishing rapport and finding out about the students and associated activities. The information on dealing with students on different levels was also useful as this can be a big challenge but the unit provided useful techniques. Encouraging the use of the English language is necessary as the learners will get used to hearing it often and may gain confidence to use the language and also be motivated. The learners are there to learn English after all, so it's important to use this instruction so they familiarize with it.
