Unit 15 discussed evaluation and testing in the classroom. The unit started off by stating the important reasons for evaluation students on their progress and noting that students should also evaluate the course itself. When students evaluate the course, it helps the teacher gauge what topics need more focus and if all the students feel the teaching methods are productive. The unit then moves into testing and the different types of tests often given in the classroom setting. The unit also included an example of a placement test which was very helpful to see instead of visualizing an imaginary one. This unit helped me a lot for future testing because it highlighted the specific types of tests that should be used in particular situations.
