I feel that what I took from this unit is how I would want my classroom set up to be like during the first couple of weeks or the first month of teaching a new class. I would want to use the circles and horseshoes. I say this because it is a way to make the classroom more intimate, help the students get to know one another, and be a great way to establish rapport between teacher and students. I also feel like this would also be a great set up for an ice breaker activity. This unit was also helpful on ways to avoid Teacher Talk Time. You don't want the students to get board and the points highlighted in this unit was very useful. I think the main point that stood out to me was saying not to over elaborate and to really just keep it simple.
