In this unit, I learnt many roles of teacher and learner. Teacher can be an instructor, facilitator, mentor, psychologist, counselor or a policeman in different condition with different needs from students. And there are two forms of teaching adults: one is teaching individual student, another one is teaching a group. These two forms have their own advantages and disadvantages for both teachers and students. So there may be some potential problems, from which gives me instructions to me that how to handle it. Teaching business English is vary from teach other needs, so when I want to improve their abilities, I should choose the appropriate materials. And there are some methods for me, such as grammar translation, audio lingualism and PPP.
