This unit dealt with quite a few topics. First was the modal auxiliary verbs, and their usages. I feel like these are very simple concepts but tough to explain. Next up is the active and passive voices and their structures. Where the subject is acted upon by the object within the sentence. Third was the relative clauses, which adds additional information, that modifies a noun. The previous sentence happened to be an example of a relative clause. Finally we went over Phrasal Verbs, which were again simple yet complicated once you get to breaking them down. I can see these topics being more challenging to teach. A TEFL teacher may not want to come out of the gate with this material. I can see why it was saved until the end of the curriculum.
