This unit provided me with more knowledge and information regarding the Past tenses and the usage of these tenses. I now know that some principles applies to the past, present and future tenses which makes it easier to understand in which category it belongs such as perfect, continues or perfect continues. Now I also have a better understanding of the usage such as in the case where a time is given for a past action in the past simple tense. I also have a better understanding of the form in which these tenses can be used such as affirmative, negative and question forms. This unit has also provided me with more information regarding the regular and irregular verbs used in the past simple tense such as see/saw and many more irregular verbs.
