Teach English in JinjiAjing XiAng - Baoding Shi
This unit helped me rediscover some language basics that I commonly ignore in the English language, as it is my native language. I found the information really helpful that covered common mistakes for non-native speakers. Unit 4 addressed the present simple tense, present continuous tense and present perfect tense. It was helpful deconstructing these tenses by affirmative, negative and question. I also wrote down some of the teaching ideas, as I found them helpful for the specific tenses. Specifically, the idea to instruct students to find other students in the room who ____. Ex. Find someone who plays soccer. I think this could be a very effective way to engage students and encourage conversational use of the language in a simple way.
