I have learned that it is important to make a lesson plan but it is not recommended to use a rigid lesson plan and follow it word for word. I now know that a lesson plan should be used as a guideline and a record and should be flexible to be adjusted to suit the student?s need. I also know now that a lesson plan should contain a few points such as the learner objectives, personal aims, language point, teaching materials, anticipated problems, procedure, phase, interaction and timing to serve as an aid to the teacher. The lesson plan also serves as a record and should contain the following information such as the class level, number of students and the Date. This kind of lesson plan can then be used by another teacher incase of absence.
