This unit covers lesson planning and how to adapt a lesson plan into the classroom. I think one of the most important factors to lesson planning for teachers is to remain flexible. Having a general idea of what one would like to do is helpful during the actual implementation of the activities, but different things can happen at any time, and based on whether or not the students are grasping the concepts is something to keep in mind at all times. For example, during a lesson, if you notice students are still not fully understanding the key concept(s), the teacher will need to adjust and potentially review more. It is also a good idea to have extra activities and explanations before the main activity to aid in greater comprehension of the topic.
