There is a huge difference between the two lessons. It's clear that in the first one the students are not involved and the teacher doesn't make any efforts to change this condition. In the second lesson the teacher introduce himself and ask the names of his students which makes them feel more comfortable and put them in the right mindset to learn. He also gives a brief presentation of what is going to teach. Moreover the teacher uses mimes and drawings to help the ice-breaking and make the students talk. He uses drills to correct their pronounciation and correct their worksheets after the students completed them. At the end of the lesson the students knew the use of the auxiliary verb \"can\" and learnt new vocabulary clearly enjoying the lesson.
